Hello,

I just bought the ryzen 5 1600 and other components for a pc upgrade and I was kinda hoping to play pubg pretty decent. Now all games I have are performing really good, a major improvement coming from a phenom 955 3,9ghz...But it just doesnt work with pubg. The fps stutters are just unbearable and its really inconsistent to the point where it sometimes isnt even playable anymore (the stutters go between 80fps and 1fps...) Tbh, I don't really think it's the cpu, but rather something else. An example is I havent reinstalled win10 yet, because somehow my pc can't recognize my usb as a boot device so I just went and go with the current situation.
Like I said every game I play has major improvements but pubg just doesnt work.
Maybe it is the OS, but in case I can try other things I really need some advice

My specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
Mobo: Gigabyte AB350 Gaming (F5 bios)
RAM: Corsair vengeance lpx 8gb 3000mhz (set at 2933)
Gpu: Sapphire nitro+ Rx470 8g
Psu: Corsair TX750w
HDD: WD Blue 1tb

I mean with this hardware I should at least make it playable even if I have to set everything to low, but even then it's just unplayable.
Really need some ideas here,

btw I'm thinking of trying it again with the cpu overclocked, but I have to wait till later this day when my new fan arrives

I found the problem! Apparently, my windows only recognized 4gb ram (even though it's 64bit) I pressed windows key + R and typed msconfig, then changed the maximum ram in boot options to 8gb. I'm running around 75-90 fps in pubg now, it's great :D

Are you playing the game on steam? If so, you should validate the game cache to make sure its all there. Also, the other responder is correct in that you SHOULD reinstall windows with new hardware. BUT, with Windows 10 you dont really have to, it does a scan of the hardware before it loads and tweaks the drivers (which is awesome). Also make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. If all else fails, wipearoo it is, or see if its a known bug with the dev.
