Hey,
I have a strange problem. I just upgraded my rig yesterday my specs are as follows
R5 1600 + Stock Cooler
Msi B350 Tomahawk
16 Gigs DDR4 3200 MHZ
850 W Power supply
Msi 1080 TI
The issue am having is am trying to overclock the CPU which i know is a trial an error
so i tried 3.9 MHZ with 1.38 CPU Voltage and did AIda64 stress Test it failed so i went back to the Bios to play with the frequency a bit more went back to Windows and i noticed that my CPU Core is stuck on 1.5 MHZ although in the bios it is at 3.9 MHZ am i missing something here? is it a safety future? P.S when the stress test failed the screen goes black only it does not restart so i have to hard shut down. I tried to restart and shut down a couple of times still stuck. Can anyone help me out here? right it is stuck at 1.5
