Would this GPU run good with a Dell Optiplex 755 Tower?

I have a Dell Optiplex 755 Tower, currently the biggest one right after the Mini-Tower.

I'm looking to upgrade the PC's GPU as I can't even play any games besides a few with the GPU I have now. I don't really know how many I slots I need on the GPU to fit. All I know is that it needs to be low-profile and less than 7.5 inches.

I was thinking about buying the AMD R7 240, but then I did some research and figured out that for a couple dollars more, I can get another 10 FPS added on. I tried checking out the AMD R7 250 as most reviews gave it a good rating, but it consumes a TON of power and I'm not sure if my PC will be able to provide that. I saw that I cannot upgrade my PC's power supply as the Dell Optiplex 755 Tower already comes with a power supply from Dell, so if I am planning to buy something that supports more watts, I need to buy it from Dell.

I finally settled on a decent GPU that is made from a really good manufacturer that I personally really like. The GeForce GT 730 GPU. I believe it should work with the specs I have below, and if it doesn't, please provide me with a alternative.

CPU:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 @ 2.33GHz

64-bit

GPU:

Intel Q35 Chipset Family

Memory/RAM:

4 GB, (3.86 GB usable)

Hard drive:

148 GB, 111 GB free.

That I believe is it, if you need anything else from my specs, I'll try to provide it. I appreciate the help though.

You have an older dual core, and it's slow(less than 3ghz). This means you will only be able to reasonably play certain dual core friendly games. That computer, if second to the largest, has a 280W power supply. So you should be able to use any low profile card that does not require a 6 pin pci-ex connector. In addition, because it's an older computer, you want to stay away from the new Nvidia cards to avoid compatibility issues.

For these reasons I think a GT 730 DDR5 card, not DDR3, would be a good choice for you if you are buying new.

GTX750 Ti with Legacy BIOS (non UEFI) low profile unless MT case. Q9650 will run. 8GB DDR2 800 low density RAM (this means chips on both sides of the modules). Q9650 is max CPU. Look at your PCIe slot and see if it says 35W, or 25W next to it. in that case your upgrades will be quite limited.
