Hello guys,
I have been searching for 3 days now. I just can't decide.
It's about i5 6600k and the newest i5 7600k with the Asus ROG Strix Z270F mainboard.
Both i5 cost the same on mindfactory. I just want a stable CPU for the next 2~3 years when a better one are coming out.(or when I have more Budget for them)

And I would like to know which one is a better "future-proof". So is the Mainboard too.
Worth getting Asus ROG Strix Z270F? When I already have the Gigabyte z170n-Wifi. I need to buy a new mainboard because mine is rev.1 and the bios need F20 but the Website say that the Bios update is currently on BETA + * This BIOS prohibits updating to earlier version BIOS! (I try one time and it failed but good thing nothing happens).

Link for the current Mainboard.
my old mainboard info

So what are your suggestion for me, guys?
Btw I also was searching for i5 7600k vs i7 6700k but i5 seem to be better than the 6700k. Now I'm really confused.
Link where I found it.
on UserBenchmark

p.s I want a mainboard that have a bit rgb color( I wanna it to fit my Msi GPU+(kraken water cooling)

And getting the i7 7700k with Asus ROG Strix Z270F are out limit my budget.

Current build right now:
CPU: i3-6100
GPU: GTX 1060 6G
RAM: 16GB Hyper X 2133 MHz
MAINBOARD: GA-Z170N WIFI
COOLER: NZXT KRAKEN x62
MONITOR: Main: ASUS VG248QE(144 Hz) and a SAMSUNG(60 Hz)
SSD: SAMSUNG EVO 850 250GB
NZXT 340 ELITE ~
PSU: Bronze (old) 450w

You have contact NZXT for a AM4 backplate. It is free, and should be quick. Any B350 mother is around 100, so you ar good. Maybe the AsrockPro or MSI TOMAHWAK...again all B350 motherboard will do.

For what you want to do the Ryzen is better. If you are ONLY gaming, and that's it, the Intel would be better. With ryzen you lose SOME performance, but it is made up by the use of multi-tasking.
Not sure how the 7600K is better than the 6700K. If you can, I would go with the i7-6700K over all three of those chips. Those benchmarks are based off users. Of course it looks better when it is higher clocked, but the i7 has more threads and a better list of IPC with more L3 cache as well, which is clearly defined here http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/427/Intel_Core_i5_i5-7600_vs_Intel_Core_i7_i7-6700.html

If your pick is only between the 7600 and 6600 go with the 7600. If you can pick up Ryzen 5 1600, then go with that. You don't need a fancy motherboard with 100 features. Do you plan on overclocking? Do you plan on editing or streaming? What exactly are you doing?

Well I'm not really a fan of Ryzen/AMD.
■ I planning on 1080p game(heavy Multitasking/Dual Monitor) cuz I need to watch live stream on another Monitor/watching movie)
■ This gonna be my first time overclocking it. But I won't try to break the limit. Just need a Stable value!
■ Well I'm currently doing reaction video around 10min + editing some fans videos, so the Editing speed/time don't really mather.

Then Ryzen is your choice. Unless you plan on getting a i7, your multi-tasking will suffer.

Why exactly aren't you a fan? You do realize that even the most popular Youtubers are switching to Ryzen, right? Their processors have been patched and works beautifully. You want all of these features, but not really to get the parts that are needed for it.

I have an AMD for around 1month ( was around 4~5 years ago) I was kind of head banging....So confusing with the gpu/cpu cuz the game didn't run really smooth and yeah bad memory.

I know that many people are switching cuz intel keep increase the price with a little bit of upgrade....

But I don't know if the youtube are just promoting ryzen or not. And Which one would be good for my build? with cheap cost? It need to keep fiting my old parts too. Like will my RAM/GPU/Cooler work with the ryzen?

Could you show me some good youtube videos with good build ? This time is my longest searching ever....

Ryzen 5 1600 is probably what you want. It's right around $200 and it can handle your DDR4 RAM (which is what the 6600 or 7600 uses). all you have to do is search Ryzen builds and you will see plenty. Here's one:

what do you think about Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 AMD B350 So.AM4 its around 110€ look awesome with the rgb xD will the mainboard be future proof? If I gonna upgrad amd in 3~4 years?
and yeah I start to falling in love with ryzen 5 1600.

I just saw the fps from games! its just around 5~6 fps or so. And that is awesome. I mostly play game like csgo, battlefield 1, survive games. Just 1080p is enough for me. But heavy mulity tasking is A MUST! Cuz I'm watching movies with my main monitor and my mum on another monitor...so....when its lagging or...freeze....my mum got angry :(
that why Multi Tasking is a MUST!
