People may disagree, but I say that the 212 EVO is still a great cooler for any component. It gets the job done. However, it also depends on the airflow of your case as well. I do think the 1700x is a waste since the 1700 is pretty much the same thing. But the Cryorig H7 is probably better suited for your needs. No need to go all out on a CPU, just to cheap out on a cooler.
