Low fps with gtx1080 in battlefield 1

Im currently getting around 60-70fps ultra with a gtx 1080 in BF1. Am I supposed to be getting higher fps. Cpu usage is always at 99% is this the reason why I'm getting low fps.\

system spec is:
gtx 1080
i5 4460
12gb ddr3 1600mhz

Short answer? Yes, yes it is.

Longer answer? BF1 relies on multiple cores/threads heavily, and as a result, many processors, while great for other games (yours included), struggle with BF1. What you see in CPU utilization is the tell tale sign of a CPU bottleneck, as is to be expected. If you try a game like Witcher III, though, you'll do much better.

So its normal for my i5 to get this kind of frame rate in bf1

Yep, that FPS is actually pretty good considering you're below the min spec for the game in cpu
