NEW SSHD making weird sounds.

Hello, today i recieved my new SSHD- SEAGATE FIRECUDA 7200 1TB SATAIII 64MB ST1000DX002
Its making all the cracking sounds like an old HDD, except when i press hard on my pc case with my hand or tilt the whole pc to one side. my case doesnt have screws for hdd, it just slides into slot, but its sturdy there. should i return the sshd, or what do i do?

Hello, nop, i can touch it with 1 finger and it stops making the sound.

Yeah, if it was a bad platter, you would feel grinding and vibrating. You're fine :D

ok, but still, its way too loud. any way to make it disappear?
EDIT: Cant it get damaged in a long run?

If you can find a way to keep it from bumping the case, maybe a piece of foam or cloth or something to pad the siding, then it'll stop. Otherwise, no idea

response to edit: It could, but I wouldn't call it super likely unless it's really slamming into the case. how loud is it really?
