Soooo in the past I've had a GTX 1060 6GB and a RX 480 8GB and would love to actually own one so I can get back into PC gaming (Actually been using my old, dying Radeon 7770HD 1GB lately and I just..I just can't bare to see it suffer anymore.)

Sooo with that said, I was interested in getting an RX 580, but since they're sold out and are the same price as a GTX 1070 USED (Seriously?), that's off the table. So I was thinking of the GTX 1060, buuut, I've seen a lot of used GTX 980 TIs for around the same price as a 1060 new and was wondering should I bite the bullet? Is there any problems with the 980s to know about? And would it be actually worth it to do so?

Thanks in advance!

If you're happy to buy a used card, the 980 Ti is quite a bit faster than the 1060. Only obvious drawback, besides it being used, would be power usage. The 980 Ti uses 250w, so you'll need a good quality PSU of at least 600w.

Currently rocking a 650w, so I'm hoping that's good enough for it.

Damn, I missed seeing your PSU in your signature. As already mentioned, it will be good enough for a 980 Ti, so you're fine there. The other issue with the power usage is heat created, you may already have enough case fans but if you do get a 980 Ti it's something to be aware of too.
