Solution
It's not bad, and it certainly works. I would add an SSD drive. Considering the chip prices of hard drives these days, why not go up to a 1TB? You don't need a cooler as the 1400 comes with one that works just fine. I would also change the power supply to a CX450M from Corsair that's 90+ Bronze. I'm sure the one you have is of poor quality. I also would get rid of the Wifi adapter. You always want a direct connection.

depends on where you're living.

but I wouldn't spend money on a EVGA 600b
the Corsair CXM550 is superior and usually priced all the same. you can easily get by with the 450W (CXM450 / CX450M -- avoid the 430 & 500 at any cost)

looking at your build: what's the prime purpose of this build?
