I have one 128gb ssd from adata and one 500gb ssd from wd blue. I recently discovered raid 0 and I want to try it out with these two drives but the articles I have read mention identical drives, will it work with these two?

they both run 3dnand.

Solution

For multiple reasons, that is a bad idea.
1. As above...128GB + 500GB + RAID 0 = 256GB RAID array.
2. SSD + RAID 0 is a bad idea to begin with. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-raid-benchmark,3485.html
