i am not that good at finding good settings for games, and farcry 4 was a bit laggy. I can run lots of other games like black ops 3 and black ops 2 VERY smoothly, but my biggest issue is farcry 4. i need to know if i can even make it so that it has minimal lag or run a bit better. Any suggestions?

Try Far Cry 2 on hardest difficulty. It's punishing and you have to hate yourself a little bit, but its good. Usually if you combine any name of a game and a graphics card model in a web search, you can find something on it. Some channels exist only to prove games can run on the lower end hardware. Then, you just have to trust the source.

Far Cry 4 on HD 4000 at lowest possible settings and 720P looked to be about 15-20 fps here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ju024o9lan4

Question from cole_14 : ""Can i run GTA V at all or well on 16Gb ddr3 ram, intel hd-4000, Intel core i7-3520M 2.93GHz?"

No it wont run well on integrated graphics. I wouldnt bother purchasing either game, the experience wont be pleasant.
