My apu is Amd A10-5750m with Radeon HD 8650g

So I found out about egpu's a few days ago and it just hit me, the processor in my laptop is not bad and won't bottleneck the GPU, I'm looking at the mini PCIe adaptor egpu (the slot for he wifi card) to hook up the GTX 960 I'm going to buy (I checked and it's seems like it's supported)

But I'm not sure if I can use my laptop's internal monitor for this whole thing,
Ik you need your internal gpu working as well to be able to use the internal monitor but the question is,
Can I have both of the GPUs working at the same time on the PC, not crossfire/sli but just working ( like they are both connected and on and I can choose which one to use ) for example using the internal apu to power windows while the external GTX 960 power any sort of applications (games)

I'm this could just be solved by buying a monitor but I'm a guy who is getting an egpu so u sorta already get that I'm not gifted with computer parts.

Solution
The monitor would need to be connected to the 960's output. You would be sending the graphics data out the adapter to the 960, the 960 does its thing, then sends the image to the monitor. If you use the 960 you are bypassing the internal graphics. The internal graphics are not a pass thru. Does your laptop have an input for the monitor?

It does have an HDMI connector and a VGA connector for a monitor, so there is no chance that it can work in my internal monitor?
I tried looking up people doing it and alot of them had an Intel prossesor with Intel hd, so I was not sure.

Stupid question but if it does not work just with mPCIe can I just use the hdmi cable to go from the GPU to the laptop it self?
Prob should of mentioned this but the exact laptop I have is "HP Pavilion 17-e119mw"
