If your 2000-$ computer will be solely dedicated to just pure hardcore gaming and nothing more, then get the Intel Core
i7-7700K.
If your 2000-$ computer will be used for productivity, workstation, streaming, editing, multi-tasking AND gaming, then get the AMD Ryzen 7..... the
1700 will do. Just OC the Ryzen 7 1700 to match the Ryzen 7 1800X. If you want bragging rights and don't care about price/performance, then, get the
1800X as it is the most expensive.
