I just want something to build in my spare time. Something that will play new aaa games but is as cheap to build as possible (i dont plan on using it, might give it away or sell it for cost) i would like it to be upgradable in the futre but be able to play say bf1 and bf4 on low at 1080p. Any ideas? The cheaper the better since i may lose money on it. Heck i would like to give to a kid that cant afford a pc.

Get refurbished PC with 2nd or 3rd gen i5 under $200 and then add radeon rx 460 or gtx 1050 ti. If you can find a deal that has good quality PSU that can handle those GPUs then you won't have to replace it and the whole thing will cost you ~$300.

340 at newegg. I posted then deleted because adding a card is not a project. I assumed the op wanted to actually build the PC. if I was wrong this is what I found

You're looking at a 1050 PC.
