Will getting ram that has a higher speed damage motherboard or ram modules

I am going to order ram and my motherboard is a ga h110m s2h gsm and is rated for 2133mhz I wanted to get trident z rgb 2400mhz but due to all the problems I probably won't I know if I were to use them they would just be downclocked but will getting a higher speed damage the motherboard or ram itself

the ram should just downclock.

It's different voltages that can possibly cause damage.

So a 1.2 voltage at 2400mhz should be fine right and should I risk getting the trident z rgb or just go with a regular ram
