I bought the cooler Arctic-A32 and it came with the thermal compound MX-4.I have another silicon based thermal compound bought from a local shop.Which one should i use?

MX-4 is excellent thermal paste. It is likely better than the other stuff you have depending on what it is, "bought from a local shop" does not tell me much about it.
