I'm building a pc for the first time and i was wondering if the case im buying will support the cpu cooler im purchasing. Im purchasing the NZXT Source S340 Elite ATX Mid tower case and a cooler master hyper 212x CPU cooler.

Yes, according to the product websites the case supports a maximum cpu cooler height of 161mm and the hyper 212x is 158mm tall.
