My CPU is overheating,even tho i have 3k RPM Fan speed.

In games like CS:GO i have solid fps,than suddenly i get a FPS drop,it drops under 40,than my CPU is cooling down,but my fps stays the same,untill i restart and wait like 15-20 minutes.This happens at random moments.The CPU is AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.20GHz,when i check the temps after the thing happens the readings are 255 degreees celsius,which is impossible.

Well at 255c, I don't think your CPU is considered safe to use any more. However, it could just be a bad sensor. Have you tried other software? NZXT CAM or HWMonitor? What cooler do you have?

The VRM on the motherboard gets too hot; the self-protection sets the CPU temperature very high to force it to throttle and draw less power. That's why you notice the FPS drop. What motherboard and CPU cooler?

The CPU cooler is stock,and i have rear one which is like 80mm i think. My motherboards is 880GMS-e35 am3

This was my reply to your PM: Add heatsinks like https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16... on the MOSFETs and improve the case cooling if possible. Honestly it's a crappy motherboard with a poor 3+1 phase VRM.
