I set the user/boot password to "user" for testing purposes. Then restarted. It asked me for the password but didn't accept "user" as the valid password ( because I probably mistyped the boot password twice, thinking it was "user". No possible explanation other than that. ). Though it accepted the supervisor/admin password and I was able to boot into bios. I made the mistake of clearing the supervisor password, thinking it'll stop asking. Needless to say, it didn't. Now I am stuck at boot and it obviously won't accept the supervisor password and I can't seem to get the user/boot password to work. Can\t boot into bios or anything beyond that.
(check out Haier Y11B. i couldn't find any real help on it on google. It has AMI Bios. The backdoor passwords liike AMI, AAAMMMII ETC don\t work as replacement to supervisor password )
