I am going to build a gaming computer and I dont know what cpu to get. I am mostly going to play overwatch and minecraft. While doing that, I will most likely be listening to music on youtube. I could be recording but not while listening to music. Which will give me more fps. P.S I already got a graphics card gtx 1050 ti. I want something that works with windows 7. Please make sure it is within $0-120. Could you also tell me a motherboard compatible with it. (please make sure the motherboard is ($0-80). P.S I have an 1151 socket motherboard already. Thank you.

I would get a AMD Ryzen 5 1400 it is around the same price as the AMD FX-8350, but it is a lot better, and it can use DDR4 RAM. The extra performance can be used for your recording and editing (If You Do That). If you ever start playing other games this CPU can help a lot even though the Graphics Card does most of the work when gaming. I know your budget is 0-120 dollars, but this CPU is worth the 160 dollars.
$0-120 is a very low budget. You'll have to opt for an old AMD FX-6300 CPU. That does mean you'll have to replace the Motherboard. I don't recommend.

Since you have a LGA1151 motherboard, I recommend combining the budget (120+80=200) for an Intel i5-7500 or i5-7600 (which is just a little over 200).

I dont recommand a fx chip at all xD

Op could you be more specific

- what have you got already ( band specs models)
- where are you from

I agree, $0-120 is a low budget. You can only afford an i3-7100 (just) or an Pentium G4560. They are similar in performance, with the i3 being a little faster. Adding another $50-100 to your budget opens the door for more capable CPUs that match your usage (where we can get into an i5 or a Ryzen R5.)
