Hey there !

I'm planing to switch from Intel to AMD Ryzen, I will buy a 1700x with an Asus Mobo ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO, however currently I have a HyperX memory that is not listed as compatible in the QVL of this Mobo.

My RAM is HyperX Predator 32 GB (16x2) 3000MHz HX430C15PB3K2/32.

I don't want to spend more money in memory and I'd like to know what will happen if I put this memory in that mobo with the Ryzen CPU.

Please any advised will be appreciated

Solution
I have Corsair memory which isn't listed on QVL for my Asrock X370 Taichi. It's rated at 3000MHz but it runs currently on 2666MHz. SK Hynix chip. Hopefully Agesa BIOS update should sort that out in the future.

You should be fine with that memory
