Hello everybody i just want to ask what should i upgrade first my GPU or CPU? currently i have a Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 760, Ram 16gb 1600MHz.

I am afraid that if i buy a new graphics card (GTX 1070 or GTX 1080) i might experience a bottlenecked though i am not sure if this will occur with my CPU.

What would you suggest i do? I really want to play all the new games with high graphical settings so i need a very good advice regarding my upgrade.

Thanks in advance guys!

What display are you using?
For 1080 (including fast refresh) a GTX1070 is fine.
For 1440 (60Hz) you'll get away with a GTX1070 but you may need to lower some settings to keep gameplay dead smooth.
For 1440 (fast refresh) you'll want that big GTX1080, it'll also do very nicely at 1440/60Hz if you really must play with everything turned up to 11.

And now is not the time to be making a purchase, or if you do, check the prices very carefully, the difference between the two is getting quite small because so many cards have been bought by cryptocurrency miners. In some places the price difference is really small making it a no brainer to get the GTX 1080, right now the cheapest GTX1070 on Newegg looks like it's $489...
Well if you upgrade your CPU, then you are looking at a new motherboard and RAM as well. Sure you could get an i7-3770, but you may not really be able to find it. You can still play on high settings, but you may not get the highest FPS. So, if you don't want any problems, I would get the CPU first, and then get the GPU.

If you are ok with high settings, but limiting FPS (especially in intensive games like BF1) then get the GPU.

Upgrade GPU first. If you want more performance after that, upgrade the Mobo, CPU and RAM. Either way you're out about the same amount of cash. May as well try the current CPU setup with new GPU before investing more.

However, with the current GPU prices, might want to get the CPU done first. Prices will fall in a few months.
