Gtx 1060 6GB and RX 580 8GB

Help me people.
I wan`t to play games like league of legends and cs go at 144fps 1080p and also games like the witcher 3 or gta v at 60 fps. Games like bf1 or overwatch might also be played and later on i wan`t to try 1440p and I don`t know which one of these gpu`s are the best. Can someone decide for me? My cpu is ryzen 5 1600 with stock cooler and i have 16 gigabytes of ram that are at 3000mhz. My psu is 650w so power won`t be a problem.

Right now? Which ever is cheaper. The both perform pretty much the same. Sure DX12 (newest API) favors the RX580, but that is truly up the developers, and no one can really tell the future. Again both are pretty much on equal playing field.

However, with the mining craze, they are seriously over priced. You shoudl not be spending more than $275 on them. $300 is the absolute max.

Until RX Vega comes out.... Would proceed to sell my GTX 970 then buy the RX 580 after I also obtain a $50 increase of budget.
