I just got this headset 3 days ago and today I was talking to my friend on discord and they said they could hear my songs and game sounds on their side so I checked and whenever I played music on youtube or whatever the mic is picking it up. This is happening even if I hard-disable the mic using the built in switch on the cable. I turned off stereo mix I've been through almost 100 topics and nothing fixed my issue I can't return this thing either because the place I bought it from thinks its how the headset was made and refuse to give my money back so I'm stuck with this piece of shit that I bought for 100$. I plugged it into 2 different computers and the problem is still there, I've heard people say its the wiring problem and I've even seen videos where people use a different cable splitter but it's not working for me. I've disabled stereo mix and all that other stuff i'm gonna kill my self im so pissed

This is why you don't buy headset mics. If you're gonna pay 100 dollars for a mic, buy a blue yeti, blue snowball, or at 2020.

Nono, it's not that. I thought it was that but even when I mute the mic using the switch on the cable the music still plays even though my voice isn't being recorded. It's like the using stereo mix. But stereo mix is disabled and it's happening in every computer I tested this piece of shit on. What can I do to fix this? Should I RMA it? Or do you think its a wire problem, I've seen threads where people say their inline volume control is causing the leak, should I cut the wires and join them after removing the inline volume rocker and the mic mute thing?
