Ryzen 1600x Temps with H80i V2 Seem High

I recently my first Ryzen chip and a new aio to cool it. But the temps seem way too high. Right now, it's idling 48-55C. I've heard about an offset for all X chips. Is my chip actually at 28-35C and just reporting 20C higher?

The tomshardware review on the 1500X/1600X showed that they didn't have exactly a 20C offset, but who knows maybe they changed it or it's just coded in regardless of what's going on with the chip itself

There is an offset, but I don't think it's a flat 20C like the R7s are. Unless you're thermal throttling I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you did a massive overclock, possibly haven't seated the CPU block properly, or there's a chance your pump isn't working correctly, then I might start asking questions. Idle temps don't matter that much as long as your load temps are in check.

Thanks. Idle is very variable for me right now, but load temps stay below 80 and the system is silent. Not the best temps, but nothing to worry about.

Also I downloaded Ryzen Master which shows that there is a 20 degree offset on my chip.
