long story short. My GPU has been overclocked to the max on the core clock part. I was using MSI adterburner. I was not the one who overclock it, but I take full responsibility since I left my pc open and didn't tell my younger siblings not to go on it while I was away. Pc wont stay open on the desktop for even 10 seconds until it crashes.

specs:
intel i5-7600k
asus prime z270
asus geforce gtx 1070
ssd 225 gb
and solid cooling

please help.

Solution
MSI afterburner needs to be running to maintain the overclock, so you must have it set to start when the computer boots. So remove your graphics card and boot on the integrated graphics, then change afterburner to not start on boot, put card back in and see if it runs. You may need to reinstall afterburner to prevent it from always overclock too much as soon as you start it.
