For about 3 days I have been searching all over the internet trying to find solutions for every game crashing when they are turned up to their full graphics capabilities or when I disable v-sync.
i have tried many solutions and have now received a warning in event viewer that is explaining what is happening for my games to crash now (sort of...). there is a warning under display that states: Application *whatever game I'm playing* has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware. this warning has the event ID of 4109.
if anyone has any ideas or inputs on this they would be greatly appreciated as I am giving up now and have no idea what to do.

My graphics card is the MSI R9 390x 8G and i am running the 17.4.4 version of AMD crimson relive driver
