So I recently built my first computer last November, and I've had it for almost 7 months now, but I'm starting to wonder if it's just a bad build? Sometimes it feels a bit slow, and when it comes to playing games, the reason I built it, it's incredibly infrequent, for example I recently bought Borderlands 2, but I can't get it to run consistently.
My specs are
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and my drivers are up to date
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Eight Core Processor
RAM: 8GB
My MOBO is an ASRock - 970M PRO3 Micro ATX AM3+/AM3
My OS is Windows 10 64bit
And my Monitor is 1920x1080 60 Hz
So am I just improperly using my hardware, or is this build just useless for gaming and a waste of money?
