Okay so I just brought a Intel i5 4460 (my first modern intel since 775) and a Asrock H81M-DGS r2.0, along with a silver stone water cooler, I already had the rest of the parts.

I was undure on where to make this post as it involved everything but maily the CPU,

The system boots fine into windows using the onboard graphics via the cpu (igpu), Head into talk manager and it detects the INTEL HD 4600 graphics. Update motherboard drivers and all the other things needed.

Then I shut the system down, wait a min or so and then install the 750ti, plug my monitor in the 750ti and no display, nothing, unplug the dvi cable and plug it back into the onboard cpu graphics and boom, display.

The same things happens to AMD HD 6870 graphics card.
Iv headed into the Asrock UEFI BIOS and made sure that the pcie express is primery and not the onboard graphics but makes no difference.

I plug the monitor back into the onboard video and boom working, check device manager and the cards arn't even there. I can't install the nvidia drivers as it says there is no Nvidia GPU installed and installing amd drivers does nothing.

Device manager only shows the intel onboard graphics.m

Can anyone help?

Thanks
