Just because a PC has an 1100 watt PSU does not mean it draws nearly that much, short of some insane rig with 3 each GTX680s from a few years ago...

You'd likely be fine, but, just out of curiosity, what all is installed in it that motivated an 1100 watt PSU?

Nothing much this thing is a Dell Precision T7500 Xeon Processor E5649 12 Gb ram and a 970
This computer has support for a riser card to where I can have another processor and 6 more slots of ram, But I do not have that, Again, Thank you!

Battery backup? UPS you mean?
For your configuration (only 1 GTX970), I would recommend going at least 650VA, I would 750VA as recommendation. You rig should consumes around 450W under normal load. Having UPS with higher VA rating is good but just do not empty your pocket too much.
The purpose of the UPS is only to buy you enough time to shutdown your PC properly.
It is not a replacement for normal electricity.
Normal UPS should be able to hold around 5-15mins, depending on the battery capacity not the power rating. You can also add extra battery to prolong the UPS battery capacity (not all UPS support this expansion method).
If you wanna buy an UPS, make sure you pick UPS with pure/true sinewave output. Many PSUs have problems with UPSs without that feature.

950W? 950VA you mean? This should be plenty for your rig regardless of your 1100W PSU.
If you see issues, the problem could be the sinewave output thing.
