Z270 for i5 kaby lake

Can i use z270 mobo for i5 kaby lake without BIOS updates? I found out that i cant oc with b250m thats why im resorting to z270, if you can suggest cheap motherboards that can support overclocking, kaby lake socket lga 1151 that would be good.

Yes, A Z270 is the board to go for and supports Kaby Lake out of the box, the issues are with 100 series Intel boards.

Any Z270 motherboard will allow overclocking as long as your CPU is a K series CPU (unlocked multiplier)
