Using Pentium G620 stock cooler for i5 2500k ?

I bought used i5 2500k, and i have just my old Pentium G620 cooler can i use it for my i5? i wont overclock it anyways.

It will probably be fine, but keep an eye on your temps. i5's and i7's often came with a variant of the stock cooler that had a copper insert at the base, but otherwise they were close to the same size.
