Hi, I recently built a computer, it boots and fans come on, however I cannot get any hdmi/vga signal to my monitor from either the pentium G4560 processor, or from the GTX 970, which btw I got used, I see that the gtx 970 has 2 x 6 pin slots, but my PSU came with only a 6+2 pin connector, so 2 are just hanging loose and the gpu has an empty 6 pins.
Also, even when I use the hdmi/vga from the processor rather than the GPU, It says no hdmi/vga signal found. Please help, and give advice- I really don't know whats wrong? Hopefully the pins though right?
Thanks.

When taking the GPU out, the built-in graphics should work, yes. It could be that the motherboard isn't automatically switching between external and internal GPU. If you remove the GPU, connect to the onboard graphics, are you able to see the POST screen and get into the BIOS? If you don't see ANYTHING at all on your monitor, then it's a different issue.

Hi: ASRock b250m motherboard
Pentium G4560
Zotac GTX970
2 x 4 Hyper x fury black
1 TB WB HDD
Disk Drive
430 Watt EVGA PSU
yes, it still did not work. Does this mean there's a problem with the motherboard on board graphics?
