Hi Guys I am building a extreme rig soon and I want to get 3 x 4k displays with a budget of £4000.
My new system build:
Intel - Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
CRYORIG - H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler
MSI - Z270 SLI PLUS ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Corsair - Vengeance LPX 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
Plextor - M7V 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Toshiba - 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
NZXT - S340 Elite (White) ATX Mid Tower Case
EVGA - SuperNOVA P2 850W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Microsoft - Windows 10 Pro Full - USB 32/64-bit
TP-Link - TL-WDN4800 PCI-Express x1 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi Adapter
Noctua - NF-A14 industrialPPC-3000 PWM 158.5 CFM 140mm Fan x2
LG - 27UD58-B 27.0" 3840x2160 60Hz Monitor x3
Corsair - STRAFE RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard
MSI - Interceptor DS B1 Wired Optical Mouse
All of the above adds to about 2.5k

If you have noticed I did not add a Graphics Card because I cannot decide what will do 3 x4k effectively. Also can you tell me if I run into any bottle necks e.g a part cannot support another parts full potential. I am generally going to be playing Minecraft modded and doing a lot of rendering with videos. Also would it support Minecraft whilst having OBS running in the background.

Solution

if you dont want to sli, then there goes gaming on three 4k screens

three 4k screens at the same time will be a stutterfest on a single 1080 ti on any newer games

you will want to keep it to a single gaming screen, and use the other two for windows tasks only

Sometimes I might game on all 3 but most of the time I will just use the middle 1 for game and the other 2 for normal desktop use. Also please don't post stuff about SLI because I don't want to configure it and all that.
