So recently I was in the market to build my own pc. Well budget got demolished by certain Family Incidents. I desperately need a new pc since my laptop was stolen and my browsing pc isn't up to the tasks. I don't just mean gaming. I do freelance work on Androids and I am learning thru Udemy Courses how to build websites...php, sql, WordPress, and the like.My 2008 compaq isn't what I'm settling for. I also would love to return to gaming...especially NBA 2k .
Well my parents have decided that since they can't help me fork over 700$ which is more like 700$ for the GPU and then the usual parts, that they will help me finance a custom pre built. I havent really settled on CyberPower iBuyPower or MainGear. Maingear I'd finance for the allotted 60 months and pay it off in the middle. I'm fond of their quality but the configurator feels like a joke of a rip off. But like I've always been told buy it once and pay the premium instead of 20 pieces of trash.
if I do go with them what should I not? Besides what secondary gpu ..high internal pressurization..formatted SSD and hdd so as I can install bloat-less OS. IDK I know I need help
...Should I make sure to list each part and who makes it ? At least then feel like I ain't paying out the nose for what they have instock...
Also my concern is the other two companies are less pimp my PC than they are used car salesman. So any help would be nice what I should tell them in 1000 words or less or even a phone call to do to make sure I get every 2500$ penny from them???

Trust me I know ....I already know all the pitfalls and can't stand it...but my livelyhood is on the PC so I really have no choice.I feel maingear is quality and I could even get open loop if I sell a kidney but iBuyPower has some good and bad ...the bad are BAD. Though for about 1700 I could get something close to MainGears 3000$ ....I know what I'm picking has longevity and upgradability I have done myself and Parents that justice. Mom's says go with the more expensive one but I can't help feeling I'm being juiced .

Financing is a terrible idea. And the main reason is when you finance, you'll get charged interest. You'll wind up paying twice or 3 times as much as it would cost you to buy it all at once. $700 is $700. Plus with obsoletion and depreciation, your PC will be worth way less than half when you go to sell it with very little to no upgrade options that aren't warranty voiding. So if you're interested in buying a PC, it is best to save up your money and buy the whole thing at once.
