Computer gets frozen when executing Heaven Benchmark 4.0 or gaming (in less than 1 minute) - No overclock, no high temps

Hi,

My PC specs are the following:

- i7 4790.
- 16 GB RAM DD3 Kingston Hyperx.
- MSI GTX 970 Gaming.
- SSD Crucial MX200 500GB.
-1TB HDD Seagate.
- PSU BeQuiet! Pure Power 630w.

No overclock.

The thing is the following: after I execute any game (PoE, 7d2d - 100fps before freezing, Assetto Corsa) the PC freezes completely in less than 1 minute gaming. Using Heaven Benchmark 4.0 has the same outcome. The only way out is hard reset.

I tried the following:

- Using Prime95 and Furmark at the same time - 100% CPU usage and 99% GPU usage. Temps with CPUID rounding 100º. The PC did not freeze.

- Windows diagnosys of memory - no errors.

When using the benchmark, temp got to 64º before freezing. FPS were good until the very second the system got frozen.

I am starting to get desperate. I will much appreciate any advice. Thanks!

EDIT: Adding image of Furmark + Prime95 running at same time, and temps in CPUID

Finally I removed the graphics cards, cleaned it as well as the inside of the PC with an air spray, and it seems to work... damn I was close to getting a new PSU. Hope this holds! I was able to play for 1 hour straight. Thanks for your help anyway!

XMP disabled, just checked. The energy saver option in the BIOS (basic mode) is off, I set it to max performance.

I had a similar problem and the only fix was to replace the power supply. It worked fine until I ran anything graphically demanding like Skyrim or Heaven. My new power supply was the same wattage but a better quality unit.
The other thing to check is to see if the same thing happens with the video card in a different computer to make sure that the card itself isn't failing.

Is there any other way to check the GPU or the PSU? The PC did not freeze when I executed both Prime95 and Furmark at the same time with 100% usage of both (is that sufficient stress for the PSU to check it?), but it does freeze when using games or Heavens Benchmark. I though the brand I got was good, and morr wattage than required... (BeQuiet! 630w 80 PLUS Bronze)

The benchmarks may not be stressing the video card and power supply the same way that some games and the Heaven benchmark does. I had a 650 watt power supply that was less than a year old but it could not supply the correct power to the video card when running games or Heaven. I have had more than one power supply either be DOA or die long before I thought it should.
