Hello, I wanted to know if I should upgrade my processor and motherboard to an am4 and ryzen or if I should upgrade something else, I have a gtx 950, 8 gb ram, 1 tb storage, fx 6300, 500w power supply, I only have 300 to spend

Solution
^ good idea. with 3 cores on each CCX, less lag while using multi core operations. its always better to go with a powerful cpu since thats the part which is gonna be used longer in ur rig.
You would need a new motherboard and RAM as well as the CPU.
