Hello! I'm making a new PC for my wife but we can't decide between these two models or RAM modules:

-Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (4x8GB) 3000Mhz CL15
-Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (2x16GB) 3000Mhz CL15

Her motherboard is an ASUS Maximus IX Hero.

The price difference between them is just 4 bucks, however... we can't decide which ones would be better performancy wise. The Vengeance RGB look flashier, but we need to install 4 modules... unlike the Dominator Platinum, which comes with 2 modules.

What would you recommend us to do? Get four flashy RGB modules or two "less flashy" modules? Would she feel any performance improvement with two modules in Dual Channel, in comparison with four?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Arkanus :) Both are good to use in your MB so long as it's DDR4 RAM.

Usually 2 modules are more stable than 4 and performance wise would make no difference in performance as your MB is dual channel architecture.
It's up to you in respect of flashy looks however do you have a need for 32GB of RAM as 16GB would handle all your needs for multitasking and gaming and would save considerable cost.
32GB is not really needed unless you are video editing or rendering large files. If you plan for this in the future then yes, go for the 32GB as a single kit.
I personally use Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM as I don't really care for the bling.
