4GB ram can i add another 2GB?

Hello, i want to ask something. I have a laptop (lenovo G50-80) (machine type 80E5) that has 4GB of ram Installed. It has another one slot. Can i add another 2Gb of ram that i have?(both of them are ramaxel)

You can if the 4GB stick aren't running in Dual-channel, this wouldn't be a problem, just add one, update windows and BIOS and that should be it.

Thanks for your answer. It's only one ram stick which is 4GB. Also, how can I update bios? I'm running Linux on usb stick cause my hard drive died.
