So i fried my graphics card (msi gtx 970) and i was wondering is it better to sell it as is on ebay (not working) to someone for parts. or is there a way to try a home fix? the warranty is already out and ive read on a few posts that u can put it in the oven for a little while to resolder some of the connections which might fix the issue. in which case, what temperature? and do i need to remove the casing first as its plastic? any help or more information would be greatly appreciated.

it depends on how you fired your GPU like frying the capacitors or other components. how will just hitting it up in the oven will help you? you may have like 0.1% chance of getting it worked by doing that. try to send it to repairs and see if you can get it to fixed by MSI if not sell it on ebay for parts. at least you can get some cash out of it.
