Yes that motherboard will easily support that SSD, it will pretty much run any SSD, even the newer M.2 drives.

That part of the description you mentions means it support upto 6 SATA drives of a speed of 6gb/s basically SATA3.

You will see on the SSD description that its also a 6gb/s drive (SATA3)
