Hi, just recently my wired Ethernet (powerline) just randomly went out. When I put my computer to sleep and woke it up the Ethernet would work for about 1 minute then just cut out. When troubleshooting Windows just said that I had "No IP Configuration" but looking closely into cmd (ipconfig) i found that my IPv4 address and Subnet mask were both being recognized. But my default gateway was no where to be found. If anyone has a solution for this, that would be great. I'm currently running wireless internet at the moment but would like to get the Ethernet working. By the way every other computer in my house is connected to internet via Power line Ethernet and they are running fine. Keep in mind that my internet was working properly 2 days ago,
this just started happening.

That 169.254.x.x address and subnet mask are used when the computer is unable to get a valid address via DHCP. The computer is essentially assigning itself an address because in can't reach the DHCP service on your router. edit: Your actual address will be similar to all other devices in your house (e.g. 192.168.x.x).

Have you checked the lights on the powerline adapter and your PC's NIC? There should be lights on the powerline that show a good connection to both the PC and other powerline adapters..
