Swap out Wraith fan for something quieter?

Are the fans on AMD's Wraith coolers replaceable with a standard 92mm fan? As quiet as the Wraith fans are, I am still thinking about getting something even quieter.

@idigweeds did you ever find an answer to this? I'm in the same boat. Not sure if my fan is a lemon, but I definitely would not call it quiet. I found this that does claim the mounting holes are 80mm https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/wraith-stealth-height.1952/page-3

I do see a few fans out there with that config. For instance this http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6144/fan-313/SilverStone_FM83_92mm_Case_Fan_in_80mm_Mounting_Frame_w_Fan_Controller.html which may not be any quieter..

Also wondering an adapter like this could be used: https://www.amazon.com/Nexus-80mm-92mm-120mm-Converter/dp/B002C7IQ1O
but not sure introducing a gap like that between fan and heatsink is a bad idea.

There's also flat adapters like this to go...

There's also flat adapters like this to go to 92mm but can only find on ebay

Anyone have advice here or experience with adapters of this sort?

I have the wraith stealth cooler, which I imagine will be similar to the Spire. When I pulled the fan to rotate the AMD logo, I found that it matches the 80mm mounting. I -was- going to use an 80mm-120mm adapter, but because the adapter's hole is made for the 80mm fan it actually looked like I'd be getting less airflow. It also looked weird, so I just returned the adapter and put the stock fan back on.
