Motherboard or CPU/RAM/GPU

I am making a gaming PC but my budget isn't huge and I was wondering is it better to buy a high quality motherboard so other aspects of the PC can be upgraded later or should I get a cheaper motherboard but a better graphics cards RAM and CPU.

If your budget is tight, then best option would be some ryzen r5, especially r5 1600 and b350 motherboard, that is currently best bang for buck. Even lower r5 is quite good. Overall motherboard wont affect performance, only possible overclocking.
