which cord do I put in my hard drive

I'm new to this website, not to sure how it works so I think I post my question here. Anyway I have recently got an old computer and I am not to sure what cord I am meant to put into the hard drive

I would use the the darker cable and the last connector the black one for the hdd and for the lighter one for the dvd use the black connector also and the end of the cable. the gray ones in the middle are for slave drives like second hard drive/cd or dvd drive.
