Hey,
So basically was using my computer, turned it off to go to bed, woke up, turned it on and the monitor and keyboard and mouse won't turn on, getting no power.

The fans all work, the mobo lights still work.
I took out the ram and there is no beep for it not being there.
Would this mean the mobo is gone? Or the psu isn't giving It enough power?
I assume because the lights are working then the psu must be?
Don't get habe another pc to test parts.

Read alot of threads and some say psu some say mobo so not not sure What to buy :/

Thanks for the help.

Hey, it's a cheap build, the psu is a cooler master B600
The mobo is a asus b150m -a d3.

My last psu was probably even cheaper and that lasted 5 years. This system is about a year and a half old.

Psu fans spinning, CPU fans spinning. All lights working as normal, drives get power. Just no beeps. When the CPU is out nothing powers at all, as soon as it's back in it starts up.
No ram = no beep aswell, also tried all the resetting of the bios and replaced battery.

What could have happened over night for something like this to happen?

I read somewhere if the mobo doesn't beep than it's most likely that. Would you agree?

That's understanble, although that the best I've ever had. All my old systems have lasted 5 years plus with a worse psu. I take care of my pc, clean it out, don't move or around.

It may be a poor psu but it should last more than a year and a half if taken care of.

Either way, I've taken it with me to work hoping I can test it out on a machine here and see how it goes
