I am building a PC which will be in a dusty environment and will have to cleaned every week. So I am looking for a case with good quality and easily removable dust filters. I have searched plenty models but haven't found a solid case yet. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Below are my requirements

  • Top and side panels to be solid (No openings for fans required)
Dust filters to cover Front and Bottom.
Easy removal of Front Dust filter.
I find Corsair Obsidian 450D to be perfect, but reviewers are pointing out that the front panel hinges are weak, so I am afraid that regular removal might break them.

Please suggest.

Most cases require removing the front panel and/or side panel. I don't know why. There is no reason why they can't make one with easy to remove filters. By placing the front panel on a hinge with a magnetic clasp to keep it closed. Perhaps just hold the front panel on with magnets and some alignment guides. Weak magnets aren't a danger to hard drives or all those laptops with magnetic lids would be useless. Not to mention the EM field from electric fan motors.

The Silverstone Raven comes with three bottom mount fans and a sliding filter. For quick filter access and cleaning.

What will go inside this pc?
If you can use a M-ATX motherboard, I can recommend the Silverstone TJ-08E and PS-07 cases.
TJ-08E filter slides out.
PS-07 filter is accessed by opening the front door.
Filters are washable.

If all of your intake air is at one source(usually the front) and is filtered, your parts stay cleaner.

Silverstone makes the Mammoth MM01. It has HEPA filtration. Although it is quite expensive and I bet filters cost a lot. The filters are hard to find.

The Phanteks P400s has easy to access top and bottom filters.

The Corsair 750D and 450D have some fairly easy to access front and bottom filters.
