PC randomly freezes.

I removed my Intel CPU fan about an hour ago in order to get rid of all the dust and particles that were cluttered up and then successfully reattached it to the motherboard. However, some time after starting to play a game, my computer simply became unresponsive and the only way I could restart it was by holding down the power button, since neither the keyboard nor the mouse were working either. At first I thought it was due to having Spotify running in the background, so upon start-up I closed all applications except the game I was looking forward to playing and its platform, Steam, but eventually it froze again.
