Hey guys, so I just inherited my brother in laws old gaming pc as he just built a new one. I have several games I like to play but squad, and battlegrounds are what I play most at the moment. I can run both games, but I have to turn all the graphics down to the lowest setting in order to get 60fps, and once in a while I still drop below that. I want to upgrade what I have so that I can run games at higher settings, and/or get better fps. I'm no expert at building pc's so I thought I would reach out here, and get some advice before I start throwing money at this thing. Here are the specs of my current pc:

Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 Motherboard
16gb Corsair Vengeance ram
AMD RX460
Intel i5-4570t 2.9ghz cpu

I was thinking about buying a gtx1080, but I don't know if it's worth it, or even if my motherboard can run it? I just don't know enough to know what will or won't work. What do you guys suggest I do to upgrade this thing? I don't mind spending some money on it, but I also don't want to break the bank. So.... what is the best bang for my buck here?

thanks in advance,

Hoss

I forgot to mention the psu. It has a EVGA 500W power supply. Is that enough? What about cpu? Is the i5-4570t decent enough to stay with or are there better options?
