im trying to upgrade my CPU with my current motherboard but it's telling me on pcaprtpicker that it isnt compatible with the BIOS whatever the fuck that is. Can someone please tell me what i can do, because i really dont want to purchase a whole new motherboard and have to install it all over again. here is my part list

BIOS needs to be at least what? And don't i run the risk of damaging my computer if i update BIOS or mess around w any of that shit? as opposed to buying a new board

OK, going to update BIOS with current CPU but does it matter what kind of CPU i have at the moment? pcpartpicker said that upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions. I currently have an
Intel Core i5-4430 running at a measly 3.0ghz
